A friend of mine sent an email to Allan Candy Company to ask about gluten-free products. Here's the response:We have two product lines that do NOT contain Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Milk, Eggs, Wheat or Gluten and are produced in a facility free of such allergens; that is our Allan Dum Dum Pops and ALL our Candy Canes.'Tis season for candy canes so I decided to investigate.
I had no idea just how many flavours of candy canes were out there! Available flavours include Red Berries, Gingerbread, French Vanilla, Tangy Wild Strawberries, Sour Watermelon Slices, Peppermint, Cappuccino, Peach Slices, Cherry and Butterscotch. I found a whole bunch of them at Zellers but I'm sure many stores have them.
